Twinkle, twinkle, little star – now you can learn what they are! See a beautiful night sky and listen to star stories from around the world while exploring constellations, and observe the Moon in the daytime and nighttime sky.

Takes place in the Planetarium.

Objectives:

At the end of the program the student will be able to:

  • Recognize constellations
  • Observe patterns of day and night sky and apparent movement of objects across the sky as observed from Earth.
  • Observe changes in the Moon's appearance from day to day.
  • Understand that the Moon can be in the daytime or nighttime sky.
